Hi guys.. so my story is..I came to Canada in may 2015.. my visa as for feb 2015 to 2019 sept..I will have to extend my study permit for 4 months as it expires in September 2019 and I finish my diploma in December 2019..I plan on applying for pgwp in December 2019 after I finish this diploma in engineering.I only did part time In January semester of 2017 from 2015 till now and will never happen again till I finish next year.. what are my chances of getting a pgwp please.. and this diploma is not offered anymore by my school so I am the last to graduate with it as I have been here since 2017.. thanks

Technically you are in violation of PGWP requirements as part time is only allowed in last semester.
But nobody can know how the immigration officer will decide your case.

Hi.... its not 4 and half.. its 2; years long.. I'm the one who finished it in 4 years. i had to repeat some courses. I'm just scared that they'll decline my pgwp next year cause of the part time in 2017 winter. I never worked that time. can someone explain please .. and will it be better just going to the border with my graduation letter?

Sorry to say but chances of refusal are high as only last semester can be part-time. Going to border don't change the rules.

No harm in trying though.

All the best

I'll be packing my bags next year if its declined.. or maybe I'll be grabbing a lawyer.. maybe if I just send my graduation letter only?

Lawyer only if you don't care about extra money and only when it's refused.

Give a try with your completion/graduation letter. Never know you get lucky.

You could have instead done engineering in these many years ...not sure you might have doubled up that duration also.

Good luck

If you’re one of the luckiest people in the world, then only submit the graduation letters (don’t submit transcripts), maybe get one from your registrars office and one from your department. Then you wait, maybe they will approve, or maybe they will ask for your transcripts. Again, if you’re lucky. Another option is to flagpole which is risky (only attempt if you’re really desperate)

i need help someone...
here is my timeline
came to Canada in 2015 may.. took one course that time in summer
took 5 courses in 2015 sept ( i was doing engineering diploma)
took 4 courses in jan-april 2016 semester
took one course in may summer 2016
took 3 courses in septemr -december semester 2016(was on probation here) minimum for fulltime is 3 courses in my school
did 2 COURSES in jan-april semester 2017 did 2 courses in 2017 may summer semester
did 3 courses in september 2017 semester
did 3 courses in jan-april 2018 semester
no courses in may summer semester 2018
doing 3 courses right now(september-dec 2018) still on probation and plan on getting off it this semester
study permit expires 2019 septemeber ,switching to a degree as i have spent 4 years here failed most courses(about 10) but will need a year plus from now to graduate so i will be extending my study permit by one year from september next year(2019)
my question is will this affect my PGWP application in 2020 may after i graduate ?as i did part time in that 2017 january to april semester only ?i will be fulltime even in my last semester,it was just that one time..
i did not work in that semester as well.i worked 2016 june as fulltime and parttime(10hrs per week) in september to dec 2016 then quit in december and worked again from 2017 may to 2018 may (in 2017 sept to april 2018 i ws working 20-25 hrs but mostly 22 hrs as my manager was acoholic in making the schedule).worked again from may 2018 to now and still working fully parttime...please i need an answer ASAP...thank you so much in advance

Have you been approved for the extension? I assume you've already had one extension already. Nobody can say what will happen in your case. You are not guaranteed a PGWP but sometimes people get approved even though they shouldn't have.

i was initially given 4 years study permit and i school in pei
You must have switched programs at the beginning because it is very odd to get a 4 year permit for a 2 year course. As previously said nobody can guarantee what will happen in your case because it is not straight forward.
