Hello great people,

AOR Dec 27 2017 and no update on file since.

Sent a mail and was informed file transferred to a special unit.

Its been more like a torture checking inbox for email from IRCC.

At what point should one loose hope on the application? Its really torturing and psychological even for a clean application.

What can one do in these dying period to keep hope alive as nothing has moved on file since 27 Feb 2018
Hi. What is your nationality? This is most likely Security Screening. Ordering notes will NOT delay your process. However, you will NOT learn if you are under SS through GCMS notes (the hace stopped showing that info), but I still recommend you ordering them to get a better sense of what has happened to your application in these past 8 months.

Good Luck

Hello All, i got my COPR request, at a totally unexpected time. Never let your hopes down, u will get it sooner.. It was 200+ days for me from my AOR. Right now, my wife is pregnant, n hence cannot travel. So what should be the course of action? Should we inform CIC and ask for an extension or should we send our passports along with an explanation letter. What will the cic ask us to do? Kindly guide me as i'm nearing my PP submission deadline. TIA!!

Sorry to say but, Seems like Nov and Dec applicants who had eligibility reviews(AORs) are seeing some progress in their applications now.
What is you AOR?
My application was marked "review required" in January and I finally got PPR on Sept 5, shortly after I received acknowledgment of a CSE that I sent that explained the issue that required review.

Hello Mrs. Kow
Many many congratulations to you.
Can you explain a little more like what kind of review was required and what did you came to know from CSE and your action subsequently.
I also have eligibility under review which I came to know from notes.
AOR Dec 18.2017.
TIA

When I ordered GCMS notes I saw that my application had been marked "review required," because of my "broken-up work history" Someone had written that it appeared that I had been continuously employed, but my letter of employment showed 4 periods of 11 months of work. I'm a teacher, so my yearly contract is from late August through June. I don't work in July because the schools are closed. On August 11, after I read the GCMS notes, I raised a CSE with the subject line, "Employment Update/Letter of Explanation," in which I explained how teacher contracts work and uploaded my letter of separation from my school system since I resigned from my position at the end of June so that I would be free to move to Canada during this school year. On September 4, I received an email confirming that CIC had received my employment update and got a ghost update on my account. I got the PPR email the following day.

Thank you very much Mrs. Kow for the detailed explanation. It really gives some insight.

What is your timeline?
Just curious because couple of weeks ago my application moved to IP2. I have been stuck in IP1 forever (Dec1st AOR).
Sorry for the late reply...

I don't know my exact timeline as an agent was handling my application..

App submitted on 28 Dec 2017
And PPR received on 14 Aug 2018

Hello Experts,
Could you please explain what "EED recommended" means.
This was the last notes on my GCMS notes before they launched security .

Thank you,
