Applying for GCMS is a waste of your and IRCC time. IRCC handles 50% of all Government of Canada request for information access. This is an abuse of the system. Do you know how many agents and officers are assigned to handle these necessary requests instead of focusing on citizenship and other applications? The only reason I can think of to request a GCMS is after the 12 months period. Otherwise, anybody who does that is hogging resources.

Don't worry i already searched about GCMS. You don't have to be pissed off ok? Chill man.

Hello all, hope all of you guys are doing well!
I have a question if any one can help.. i am from toronto, i applied for citizenship in feb 2018, did my test in scarbrough on 1 aug 2018, aftet the test officer noticed that my total stay in my back home was more than 6 months in total so he told me to submit police clearnce within a month so i submited in aug.. and now finally i got DM.. the thing is i have to go to backhome in the end of january 2019.. and i m worried that i may receive the oth letter at that time.. so can any one give me suggestion what to do?.. do i send them a letter in advance that they can take my oth before january?.. or do i wait for the oth letter ? And if it conflict with my trip then i request for an other oth date in may or june?...

Call the call centre and advice them on your travel plans like your date of departure and return. They will just add a note to your file that you won't be available on those dates.

Checked eCas today and saw "Decision Made". May have happened on Friday or over the weekend.

Got test invite on 8th august 2018 for 30th august 2018 but test was cancelled due to some protests so it was recheduled for 15 september 2018.Passed test 20/20 had interview ,it was very easy and just asked about travels. waiting for DM and OAth Letter.

Got test invite today on 10/06/2018 at 3085 Glen Erin mississauga. My question is do they scheduled Saturday test??? Just wondering coz all my friends who took test are on Scarborough. Just so curious why i will take test in Mississauga and on sATUrDAY at 7:45 AM ... anybody here who had test invite on the same place on weekends??? Thank u

Thanks. I gave my test on July 30th, got the Oath Invite email in last week of Aug to attend on Sep 18th
