Express Entry - Pre-ITA - Work Experience Query

Hi Everyone,

I am currently filing out my express entry profile and I have a concern in my work history section.

I have total experience of 7 years out of which I am only claiming 1 year work experience. I am not able to get reference letters for the other 6 years and also my CRS score would be 447 with 1 year experience.
I want to know if If it is possible to NOT show the 6 year experience (pre-ITA) and include in personal history once I receive the ITA.
Please advise if this approach is correct. I am worried that CIC might think of it as misrepresentation.

It’s fine as long as the work exp is continuous, full time, 30hrs/week, falls under NOC 0,A,B skill type and most importantly your letter of refeence is mentioning all this along with your job duties...
Once get invite and and are completing the application you can mention the temaining 5 yrs work ex under the personal history section(that does not require you to submit any supporting docs)

Well, You will have to consider one thing. With 1 year of experience, if you get 67 points under FSW eligibility, then you are good,

else, your PR will be rejected under FSW eligibility.

You can mention your overall experience in work history and if you are not able to get

roles and responsibilities in it.

Then you are good with what you are thinking. All the best.

Other 6 years can be mentioned in personal history but not work history as the individual will need to produce reference letters or other supporting documents. As it’s not needed to get a good score best it’s not mentioned in work history. 447 is a great score.
