Gaining Experience while studying

Hi Guys,

I am currently studying Bachelor of Information Technology in Australia but I am originally from India and holds its citizenship (Indian). I wish to immigrate to Canada after my studies and gaining experience. Right now, I have a question to ask.

I am currently in the second year of study, I got a job offer as part-time and my visa conditions allow me to work part-time i.e 20 hours per week. My question is: I will be working part-time during studies and then full time after the completion of studies. So, experience gained during studies will be counted or not?

My scenario will be like this:
Timeline:
Dec 2018 - Feb 2019 (3 months): Full Time 30 hours/week will be 3 months of full-time experience. During this time I will have full time working rights because of semester break.
Feb 2019 - Oct 2019 (9 months): Part Time 15 hours/week will be equivalent to 4.5 months of full-time experience. (Course in-session and will have work restrictions i.e 20 hrs/week)
Nov 2019 - Mar 2020 (5 months): Full Time 30 hours/week will be 5 months of full-time experience. (Will be on Graduate Work Visa 485 and having full working rights)

Will it be counted as 1 year of experience(Full Time + Part Time + Full Time) if I lodge my file for PR in April 2020?

If you don't know something then you must not speak about it. Work experience during full time study INSIDE Canada will not be counted but experience OUTSIDE Canada while studying full time, can be shown and it is recognized. Don't ask me how do I know, I myself got experience points for part time work while I was full time undergraduate and post graduate student in UK.

I think you got all the timelines wrong.
You can claim work experience points while you were studying full time Outside Canada, no problem with that as long as the work is within the law of that country. You must have at least one year Continuous full time or equal amount of part time work experience at NOC Type 0, A or B. So you need a reference letter from your employer on company letterhead which clearly specifies the work tenure of your employment without any gap. Your experience letter should be something like this-

To Whom it May Concern
Mr./Ms. xxxx was employed by zzzz limited since 1st November 2018 till 31st Mar 2020 as YYYY. He/she has worked the following duration and hours-

1st November 2018 - 31st January 2019 (3 months): Full Time 30 hours/week
1st February 2019 - 31st Oct 2019 (9 months): Part Time 15 hours/week
1st Nov 2019 - 31st Mar 2020 (5 months): Full Time 30 hours/week

His/her gross salary was yearly $0000. His/her main job duties were-

------------
-------------

What about Full time Undergrad Studies along with Full time job?? My university doesn't require attendance, so students can work along with studies.Only we were required to attend examinations.

Technically there is no problem if you can prove the authenticity of your study and work.
Anything over 30 hours per week is considered as full time work and 15 hours per week study time is considered as full time education. A person can work weekends, evenings and one or two weekdays to complete 30 hours per week work. So it all depends how you represent your history. If your experience letter indicates you are/were contracted to work Mon - Fri 9am - 5pm then authencity of your full time study will be questioned! It all depends how did you achieve both at the same time. Question will be, whether it is allowed or not in your country to not attend at all (highly doubtful) classes in university and get certificate!!

I completed my undergrad from Nepal. My University doesn't require attendance. Only we need to attend annual exams. That's how I could work while studying full time.
How would I explain this situation to IRCC??

But if they ask me to prove the fact, what documents shall I produce ?

Not allowed in education system of Nepal but allowed in some government colleges. But they don't have any written declaration of the fact. Also the college requires attendance for BBA but not for BBS (which I studied) since it is based on annual examinations and not semester based.

The authenticity of my study will be based on ECA report. If I can get ECA for the degree then will IRCC dig upon the matter as to whether one had actually attended full time college??
In my view, IRCC would be more concerned about the authenticity of my work .If I could produce sufficient evidence regarding my work which overlapped the undergrad degree, I guess it should work. Correct me if I'm wrong!! Plz share your thoughts!!
