If you're referring to the second point in ECAS (We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on July 25, 2018.) then nothing actually gets mailed. It comes by email. I think that test and oath invitations come by mail, but you will receive email too.

I received a request for Finger Print. Was able to get in touch with an agent after 45 min. The agent told me if I dont receive an email in 5 days, I need to call back and they can put in a request to resend the email.

I would have to wait for the letter as that contains more information.

I wasted 2.5 months.

We sent you correspondence on September 12, 2018. If you have not yet provided the information or the requested documents, please do so as soon as possible. Please wait until you receive the correspondence before sending us additional information, as the correspondence will outline all information that is required.

No such letter has come, unless it was done via regular mail.

I had this happen to me last month too. It came 1 week (7 days exact) later after the date correspondence was sent.
