I like the predicting thing! LOL

Next Draws:

Scenario 1: No 3-week gap at all
99th draw on Sept 19th: 3900 ITA, 440 score.
100th draw on Oct 3rd: 3900 ITA, 439 score.
101st draw on Oct 17th: 3900 ITA, 439 score.

Scenario 2: 3-week gap in Sep, 99th draw:
99th draw on Sept 26th: 3900 ITA, 447 score.
100th draw on Oct 10th: 3900 ITA, 440 score.
101th draw on Oct 24th: 3900 ITA, 439 score.

Scenario 3: 3-week gap in Oct, 100th draw:
99th draw on Sept 19th: 3900 ITA, 440 score.
100th draw on Oct 10th: 3900 ITA, 446 score.
101th draw on Oct 24th: 3900 ITA, 440 score.

Scenario 4: 3-week gap in Oct, 101th draw:
99th draw on Sept 19th: 3900 ITA, 440 score.
100th draw on Oct 3rd: 3900 ITA, 439 score.
101th draw on Oct 24th: 3900 ITA, 446 score.

I actually have a google sheet with data and trends on the growing pool. I like analysing! :)
good job , i think scenario 2 is highly likely. May be a program specific draw on Oct 3rd as too many PNPs.

Oh. That's so good. Otherwise, I would have had to wait more and Indian PCC from Australia may take time.
if you have visited India again after you PCC was issued , you will need a fresh one.

No I did not visit India again since I got the PCC. But since the PCC is dated January 2017, I felt I needed a fresh one. I was of the opinion that I would not need one, but reading here and elsewhere, I decided to apply anyway.

Sucks. Man I regret wasting all my time and $$ for this whole Canadian dream thing. IRCC and OINP seriously lack transparency. EE is going to issue ITA for 440+ only and OINP, by removing minimum crs, is going to cherry pick IT noc and French speakers even with 300 crs. And fools like me, with 439 crs, will keep hoping and praying in vain. Wow, what a great immigration system we have in place. Also, why not rename EE to SDE (selective draw entry) and oinp to oSinp (S=selective again).
Same here bud!! I have wasted so much money and time on this and there is absolutely no guarantee that we will make it. What hurts even more is I'm stuck at 435 for months but people with 300 crs are getting invited :(

They should definitely consider renaming it to Cherrypick entry

I started feeling Canadian by heart since I achieved CRS 439, but looks like I will have to apply for STUDENT visa for master of nursing/physical therapy in Australia or PhD Health Education in US. Sucks, but I will be glad to even get a student visa at this point. 3 more weeks and if no ITA by then, dies my Canadian feeling.:oops:

I can understand. I did get the ITA with CRS 442 in feb this year, got my application cancelled due to Spouse PCC not having both last names, in april dropped 5 points and waiting since for another chance that I guess will not come

I'm dropping points in October, so probably one last tiny hope and after that I'm just shutting my Canadian dream. Not wasting anymore of my valuable time and precious money. Will start working towards Australia, maybe will have better luck there.

Its quite depressing really, being stuck at 435 waiting for a miracle, while 300 are on the plane to Canada :(

Just a question that occurred to me, why does everyone seem to gravitate so much to Toronto where there is a tonne of competition for jobs, as opposed to heading west where there are more opportunities.............?? Not to mention more affordable housing/way of life out west..

I don't want to sound south in a forum that has "hope" in its title, but "mate", from experience, Australia is equally challenging. At least Canada issue more than 7K ITAs every month. Australia only issue about 2000 ITAs per month. They used to run two invitation rounds per month, on Wednesdays, just like Canada, but now they only run a single invitation round on 11th of every month. This has the effect of shadowing people with low score.

Additionally, the equivalent of provincial nomination is called "State sponsorship" here, and that too is not as smooth a ride as PNPs. (Not saying that PNPs are easier, but they surely stand better in comparison).

The positive for Australia is that they accept an English test called PTE -- which is far easier to ace (and faster, and fairer) than IELTS. Also, you can get points for doing a translation course, which is much shorter in duration than a full-blown degree. A third plus is that you can also get points for doing another 1-year course called "professional year".

Again, not saying Australia isn't an option, just putting things in perspective. So choose your bets with care.
