Pls help me understand my application status?

Please can someone help me understand what's happening with my application?

We had an issue with the chest xray. We had to get a sputum test done in the first week of August. Waiting for the results. In the meanwhile, we received our biometrics request last week and we had them done yesterday.

This is what our status page says: What stage is my application in right now?

Review of eligibility : We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements.

Review of medical results We are reviewing the results of your medical exam.

Review of additional documents We do not need additional documents.

Interview You do not need an interview. We will send you a message if this changes.

Biometrics We need your fingerprints to process your application. Check your messages below for details.

Background check We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.

Final decision Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.

It seems like they may have seen traces of TB infection and had asked for the sputum test to confirm if active or latent/healed. If the results shows active then you will be referred for treatment and your file will be on hold till you are treated and have recovered.

You may have received the X-ray and sputum reports from you clinic and can look at it to see what it says. If there is no active TB, you don't need to worry as you will pass the medical without any major delays. You can ask the clinic for the report, they are supposed to give them to you (excluding the X-ray film). Good Luck.
