They have still not accepted your documents. That is the next stage, after that evaluation starts. That is when the 20 day timeline starts as per WES.

August 10th: Status updated again to "We received your document(s).We are reviewing your document(s)."
August 21st: We are reviewing your evaluation report. Your evaluation is due for completion on 9/12/2018.
Wife's Timeline:

Any day you should receive the date when your evaluation will be completed as all the documents are now accepted by Wes. However, I would suggest you to just call them up as normally within a day or two of receiving verification from institute, they give the final date.
In my case 6th sep univ replied to the query and on 10th I received the final report date as 28/09
I also have similar timeline with my University verification confirmed by WES on 7th then an update on 10th that it is under review but since then no movement.
Did you follow up with WES on 10th sept?
No. actually on 7th my status changed from on hold to in progress but the date for completion of documents was not mentioned. On Monday, 10th September, they updated the final date as well.

I did. They said comparing timelines with other cases is not right as the requirement for verification might be different between cases and hence post verification time taken would vary.
I am afraid that they might restart my evaluation from scratch and take 40+ days
Even mine is similar to that ,no update since 28 aug...are they doing it deliberately ???

My husband’s status is unchanged since 27th August. So even we are concerned regarding it
I read somewhere that it is application season and they would have a lot of pending work but during this duration they have been sending ECAs for other cases so either we all have some lazy evaluator or they have just forgotten about our applications!
It is super frustating so say the least!
Why is that only Indian applications facing delays???? This is the first stage of racism before PR.....
Canada prouds itself on being open to migration and being a non racist society. I think it is more to do with lazy attitude of our evaluator.
I think if possible if we can send a collective concern to them it might be effective

I had requested my US univ to send over transcript to wes directly. As per my univ, they sent it on 28th aug by standard mail but wes still haven't updated the status(on hold). Standard mails cannot be tracked.
1. Anybody who had been in a similar situation knows how much time does standard mail take to reach from California to Toronto?
2. Also, how much time does it take wes to evaluate US degree?
