Hi all,
I have a questions. My spouse applied for PR in June. She received Med E request yesterday. She is currently visiting me (visitors visa, we are both in Canada). Does she need to fly back to her home country in order to get the exam done? or she can just do it in Canada? In other words, are there any location requirements for Med exams? Thanks in advance.

Received -- June 21
AOR -- August 23
SA -- September 11
ME request -- September 12

Hi... your wife got visitors visa!!!..what documents you submitted? Like we have to show them that spouse will come back after completing visitors visa. You got that so you have idea about how to convince border service officers...

Hi. She got her visitors visa and visited Canada (and left Canada) before we got married . Originally, she was applying as a regular tourist. Technically the current trip is her second visit. That is why we didn't have any problems with the border control.

hey everyone,

Anyone have any update regarding transferring of applications for Spousal sponsorship living outside canada to Sydney. Is this true?

My application received on 18th June 2018 in Mississauga, haven't got AOR yet. What to do now to know about the status of my application?

My file was first received in Mississauga then Transfer to Sydney and after all the process it came back to Mississauga for Further Process
My Timeline is below
Mine was received on June 13 Got file Number on 17 July- Sponsor Eligibility on 17 August- Medical request on 22 August-Medical done on 25- September 11 File Transfer to VO CPC Mississauga (instead of Delhi VO)

I just called the IRCC and they confirmed that they have my application but they did not start processing it.. They just give me my application number.. Hoping they will process it soon.. June 22 applicant here...

Where are you? Sydney is a case processing centre. They arent doing any visa issuance

I can understand. My application was received in Sydney on June 27th and no response yet. I guess the most we can do is wait.

Sent mine to CPC-Missisauga on July 7th and received on July 9th at CCP-M. Didnt know they had changed it to CPC- Sydney and havent heard anything back yet. It should have only taken one month for AOR but taking too long. I contacted my local MP an they confirmed my wife's (PA) passport number is in the system which means they have received it. It seems to be this CPC-Sydney is taking longer for all of us.
