Let us not feel hard for someone who have got ppr prior to our application timeline, it sounds tough saying bcoz of Kerala floods.. Rather, let's wish them for a successful life who has got the visa.. Bcoz we all are in the same boat when it comes to handle this unbearable pain of being far from our partner, so a kind request to all that we feel happy for the one's painful journey which has come to an end.. Let us hope n wish for our painful journey, which will soon come to an end!!

Thanks

True !!
And instead of saying its not fair. we should thank them for sticking around and sharing experience and knowledge even though their file has come to an end.

She received her Passport back with COPR :)

My application received Dec 2017, trying to be positive but still.....

Thanks

Hopefully you will hear something soon. Stay positive mate.

There is nothing to worry. The normal processing times for NDVO is 12 months.

At the time of submission, I too was expecting my application to be processed in a similar time frame. But I was pleasantly surprised to get PPR soon. I think the application gets processed on a case by case basis & another factor is the immigration officer processing it. Just my two cents.

This is Awesome! Congratulations!!! :)

One question- I haven't received any Schedule A request, and I'm not even sure if I submitted it with my application. Is there a way of finding out, my status says nothing about it.
Following is my timeline:

Application received at Missisauaga- 3/29
AOR 1- 5/08
Medical request- 5/14
Medical submitted- 5/17
Sponsor approved- 5/19
File transferred to NDVO- 6/19

Thanks!

Thanks mate.

Normally, IRCC requirement is to upload Schedule A upfront. We submitted the Schedule A form along with our application. The case officer wanted some clarification on certain travel dates & requested us to resubmit Schedule A form. So, we prepared the Schedule A form & included a letter of explanation and sent it again. That cleared matters up. :)

You could contact IRCC on their helpline number & they could clarify your status.
