Using HDFC salary account for POF

I am planning to receive POF money from my father into my HDFC salary account (with gift deed, affidavit and LOE).

Will HDFC provide the necessary documents (statement and account confirmation letter) for salary account ?

Anyone aware of any restrictions (that could affect POF docs) salary account has compared to regular savings account ?

- Yes , HDFC Bank provides , and make sure that all the pages you get sign bank authority

- This is not an issue ... This is similar case mine as well . We got through all the stages without any issues...

Thank you for the reply. I have a question. I have some money in my SBI and Canara bank accounts (will cover about 30% POF). My father will give rest 70%.

I want to avoid any complications of showing multiple accounts + Gift. So I'm planning to transfer all my money to my father's account and get my full POF money as gift including his contribution.

Will visa officer ask for other bank account details or only details of account with POF funds ?

Instead of transferring your money to Father's account, Why dont you transfer to your own HDFC bank.

If I do that, then I have to prove that the other accounts belongs to me and I may have to produce statements of those accounts.

I don't want to give details of any of my other accounts. There have been lot of big sums coming in and out of those accounts for which I don't want to give explanations.

Well, you will not have to provide any proof of other bank accounts. Just transfer the money if you have not received an ITA yet. Because this way you will get enough time to provide a bank statement which will not have these funds entries.
