NDVO
Are you sure it's not 2017? Looks like you made a typo lol

There is nothing to worry. The normal processing times for NDVO is 12 months.

At the time of submission, I too was expecting my application to be processed in a similar time frame. But I was pleasantly surprised to get PPR soon. I think the application gets processed on a case by case basis & another factor is the immigration officer processing it. Just my two cents.
It's cause of kerala

I understand, could you please tell me where your from, where did you apply from?

I just think its not fair for people, we applied before some people and they are getting there PPR before us. :( :( :( :( ;( :(

My spouse resides in Kerala, India.

regarding the processing times, I agree that it is not fair but that is how it is.

Congrats.. you are not the lucky one to enjoy bachelor life after marriage lol.

Good one mate. Lol. :). Guess you are still enjoying ;)

Thanks mate. :)

I am sure there are so many other applicants from Kerala. Anyways, should enjoy it.

Precisely. A lot of applicants from Kerala are still waiting for months. It does not make sense to say PPRs are granted to kerala due to floods.

But pretty much everyone who has gotten PPR in 2018 are also from Kerala. According to lawyer and consultants I have talked to, it's normal for VOs to fast-track applications where some natural disaster or war outbreak is occurring.

I noticed another applicant from NDVO too got COPR. She is not from Kerala. From what I see, we never know how these processes work.

Hope your application gets processed quickly.

Today marks 8 months from application submission!!!
Looking at another 3 at least to meet my wife!! :(

Good luck mate. Hoping for a speedy resolution to your application.

Let us not feel hard for someone who have got ppr prior to our application timeline, it sounds tough saying bcoz of Kerala floods.. Rather, let's wish them for a successful life who has got the visa.. Bcoz we all are in the same boat when it comes to handle this unbearable pain of being far from our partner, so a kind request to all that we feel happy for the one's painful journey which has come to an end.. Let us hope n wish for our painful journey, which will soon come to an end!!

Thanks
