Hi, no they just have an email to contact them, if your application is under the processing time they don’t even reply you back, if it’s passed they will reply you after 30 days,

Guys, COPR finally received today :). I feel really blesssed & thankful. :)

There is nothing to worry. The normal processing times for NDVO is 12 months.

At the time of submission, I too was expecting my application to be processed in a similar time frame. But I was pleasantly surprised to get PPR soon. I think the application gets processed on a case by case basis & another factor is the immigration officer processing it. Just my two cents.

I understand, could you please tell me where your from, where did you apply from?

I just think its not fair for people, we applied before some people and they are getting there PPR before us. :( :( :( :( ;( :(

My father in law has stomach cancer.
His biopsy results are out & they have started chemotherapy for him as well.
Meanwhile my mother in law is recuperating from surgery for colon cancer.
My in laws really need me there. They have even got a letter from his surgeon explaining that's it's metastatic.
Is there anyway to inform the ndvo about this ? Or should I just apply for TRV ? with this document stating that they need me there during this trying time
Any inputs are appreciated .
My husband is really stressed out & worried about his parents.

It depends. You can try a visitor's Visa. As far medical conditions if only immediate family they may consider so I doubt if they will give any priority. I know a family, her son was dead here in Canada. She thought they would definitely give her visit Visa but was rejected. But tried after few months on a separate occasion of happiness, was given a TRV. It is a hard fact trust me..I know them!
So trying won't hurt your present app however say they gave you a Visa, will you stay an outland applicant? Think? or they will transfer files backwards? Or sure you will have to return back to India, which mean 1st ticket will be a RETURN ticket,. Then another ONE way ticket. Remember you have to show RETURN arrangements, ties back home, income tax returns, property value or few other factors ; forcing you to come back from a visit. They are not likely to consider transferring files, else most ppl will have done this way! My wishes+prayers that your in-laws come to normal health soon.
