I have applied for TRV online along with my mother from Pakistan on 5th August but haven't receive the decision yet all I can see this information to my application.

It's been nearly 2 weeks now since the Review of eligibility change to we are reviewing your eligibility.

When did they have start your background check as my application got stuck on background checks since one month and last week they have started eligibility review since that no update.

Submitted application online on 28 August.

Received letter to submit biometrics on 29 August.

Family submitted biometrics on 30 August in lahore.

Reflected online on their profiles on the same day.

BG Checks start ASAP when they decide whether they can give visa then they put case in BG check either they send love letter simply so nobody can tell when BG process start as it shows by default like we are conducting your bg check Good Luck

Can anyone tell me if these items above appear step by step or they all show up at once and each part is update accordingly? E.g. when you guys submit online application, does the statement about Final Decision always show up "in progress" since the beginning OR it only appears when the application is indeed in the final stage?

Also for those that don't know . We applied paper based application but there is an option to link your application to your online account so that you can see your status online.

I feel if your application reaches the stage if background check is a positive sign. I really don't know what date they started the background check but it was not more than 2 weeks.

I have just received a refusal from Abu Dhabi office after 45 days the only reason for refusal they have ticked is "Purpose of Visit" my purpose of visit was tourism I have attached flight tickets, hotel booking, tour and attraction tickets don't understand the reason for refusal.
