Background check Status

Hello everyone,

I would like to know what the below status means:
Background check - Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start your background check.

Is this IP1, IP2 or background check hasn't been initiated?
If not, could anyone please let me know what the statuses will be for IP1 and subsequently IP2?

It will be we are processing.your background check. Also no such thing as ip1 and ip2. It's just estimates based on status changes. Doesn't mean a thing

This is IP2 and right after this completes, you will get PPR email.
