I received the oath invitation on Friday for September 26th in Mississauga.
Now my question is, if I leave for US right after the ceremony, is it possible that I apply for passport from US? Anyone done that before?

I am here after a very long time. I've just sent my citizenship application to Sydney Nova Scotia.
Can you guys tell me what are the next steps i can expect. Moreover, i am assuming i can check my ECAS status once i receive an email response from CIC acknowledging receipt of my application package

Hi everybody,
I have a question. The officer that hold the citizenship interview after test is the same officer that check the case during the citizenship process or they are two different officers. Because I asked her, my PR has been expired ,I have to renew it if it take long to get the Canadian passport . She told me it dosent take long you don't need to do that. But now 7 month passed the test and and I am still waiting for ceremonie.

I live and applied from downtown Toronto so am not sure which office should be processing (Scarborough, Mississauga, or Toronto)! Is there a way to know?

I came here to see if I was alone or not...I've been IP since Jan 14, 2018. I can understand what all of us who are waiting soooo long are going through. I applied Oct 23rd. My office is scarborough though and it's as bad as missisauga. I stay in Markham.
