Spouse Security & Criminality Checks

Guys, I was in Security Screening since 30 Aug, 2017 and passed Security on 22 July, 2018, Alhamdulillah.. I added my spouse during the application and submitted her medicals on 25th July, 2018. On a call to CIC last week, I got to know that her Criminality and Security checks have not been initiated yet.

Any idea how much time it might take to get PPR?

It's a shame that you didn't get married earlier. There's no way of telling how long but let's hope it won't be more than 2-3 months, maybe less. Only God knows.

It seems to be taking around 4 months to add a spouse these days (although it could be more or less). So you most likely still have several months to wait.

My timeline is as follows:
AOR 25-07-2017
Security (IP2) - 22-08-2017
Security completed: 14-07-2018
Remedical request: 14-07-2018
Got married and added spouse: 27-07-2018
Spouse and my medical passed: 02-08-2018
PPR: ..............

I received my GCMS notes today (08-09-2018) and have noticed that my spouse's criminality and security has not been started yet.. Also It appears from the notes that they have just received the documents submitted by me and the same have not yet been reviewed by an Analyst/Officer..

Lets hope for an early PPR !

Got married on 23rd June...
I informed IRCC by around 28th June ..
Got6 a list of documents from IRCC' by 4th July
Submitted spouse documents with medicals on 27th July
Spouse UCI generated on the same day
Spouse Medicals and my remeds passed on 2nd August ..

That's the timeline I have till now...

What abt your security in gcms? I also got remedical for my spouse on 19 june. She was added from the beginning. In my gcms both security saying not security

Well in my earlier notes there were 4 activities for security screening..
In the latest gcms notes there are 7 activities under security screening which implies that it's complete.

Ok there is nothing like security screening in my notes. It just says security not started. I am pnp paper inland applocant. I got remrdical for my spouse in june 2018. Still waiting
