WES is asking for marksheet from University when it was issues by a college

Hi All,

I did my engineering from Mumbai University in 2002 when college used to issue 1st semester mark sheet. After submitting all mark sheets and degree certificate for evaluation, WES is asking for 1 semester mark sheet which has been issued by university and not by college as per their rule book.

Has anyone faced this issue? I will be calling their support number however not sure if I would be able to convince them on the phone. When contacted university they mentioned that university started issuing 1st semester mark sheet somewhere around 2004-2005 and they had issued circular to colleges.

Please share your experience if you had faced the same.

I passed out from the Mumbai university around same yr, I remember the first sem marksheet was issued by the college the second sem was issued by the university
I got WES ECA done around April 2015... it was accepted the ... i did submit the university attested marksheets and degree which I got it done from the Mumbai university centre in churchgate
