I wouldn't advise you to reapply immediately. You need to sit back and reassess why your application was refused. If you need help/advice you can post more details here
Yes we did apply from India and we do work In ksa .....
And I guess that was the mistake from our part ..... We did not quite realised that it cud take a lot of time which would go beyond our vacation period....

Yes . If you have good job or financial status then firstly get US visa it could help to reduce strong ties.

We , a family of 4 had applied for trv last July and got our application rejected as we had asked for a withdrawal of passport coz we needed to travel....
THe reason stated was very vague which said "your application doesn't satisfy us etc etc"
Here is a background to our situation..
We husband wife and 2 kids ,live and work in Saudi Arabia with valid work permits , our bank statement is quiet good ! We had submitted all the documents from the employer stating working contract and etc
Should we apply again for trv or is it too soon ?
What will my chances of getting a visa after a refusal?

You were not refused because you had asked for your passports to be returned.
You will need to post more information:
1. What is the intended purpose of your visit + for how long?
2. Do you have a Canadian host? If yes, how is s/he related to you?
3. Have you traveled to other visa-required countries for short visits with your entire family?
4. What documents did each applicant submit?
5. Until when is your work permit valid?
