Yes Activity 1-3 are blank and activity 4 type is security with it's value as blank. So it reaffirms it's in security.. as it has been since Apr start.. how long can it remain here?.. been 5 months already.

And where do I order CBSA notes?
Damn :( .... same like me then.. sorry to hear that...
You can order CBSA and CSIS notes from https://atip-aiprp.apps.gc.ca/atip/(if you are in Canada)(select CBSA or CSIS as Department and do mention about that for your application you will like to order CBSA/CSIS notes) or through gcmsbuddy.com or any other website who can provide the service..
CBSA send you a CD by post and CSIS send a letter by post...
Cannot predict the time it takes... 9-12 months or maybe more or maybe less, its not possible to predict this accurately.

Hey what's the difference between CBSA and CSIS and how do I know which to apply. I checked and CBSA is the border agency keeping track of Canadian entry/exit for criminals while CSIS is the security agency. How do I know who's keeping my file? Since my criminality got cleared I'm guessing CBSA wouldn't be the problem but not sure?!?

Apply for both if it is not expensive for you... What I learnt from forum here, is that, IRCC will handover the file to CBSA who in turn then sends it CSIS.
If CSIS does there review and sends the feedback to CBSA who in turn finalizes the report and send it back to IRCC...

Criminality was performed on the basis of the PCC that you would submit hence that first half of the background check, the second part of the background check is security where the above process takes place...

The whole Security involved CBSA interacting with their international partners e.g. Interpol etc and that's where it stretches the processing time for security...

You read through this thread as well : https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/threads/the-anatomy-of-a-background-check-in-depth-analysis.500146/

Does it take really long for securtiy checks. In this digital world information can be verified in mere seconds. Then why this much delay? And one thing I dont understand how for some applicants security gets cleared in just 2-3 days after moving to IP2 and for rest it takes years. Why and How?
