Oh, do they allow you to purchase it a year ahead, I thought they ask for some student documents before opening an account. Right now the rates are ridiculously high which is worrying me.

Do we also have to pay the first year tuition & fees?

No I have paid only what they asked on the letter. My agent told me that I can also pay the first year tuition together but I didn’t. If you have received a letter of acceptance then you can go ahead with the first year tuition fee otherwise you stick to what is on the paper.
I wouldn’t pay anything more if it is not mentioned on the paper.

Perfect! so it means you only deposited $5015 against tuition & fees.. And yes we should follow those instructions only which had been mentioned on the offer letter. But dear may I know how much is the one year tuition fee ?
I am assuming you have met all the conditions stated on your conditional offer letter and you have received your final letter of acceptance.. . So is there anything mentioned regarding fees on your recent received LOA?
No dear.. I'm yet to receive an offer letter... Once i receive it i would then proceed it for further steps... At the moment i am just waiting....
Dear as you confirmed the one year tuition fees is $27000 then did they mention any deadline date before which we have to pay that fees also?
And $5015 is just a non refundable fee against reserving our seat...??

The remaining tuition fee payable is $27000. Yes $ 5000 is for seat confirmation($15 is the fee charged the receiving bank). I think Fee is refundable only if your visa is rejected since this is part of your tuition fee. If you check on the website the total fee is $32k. This $ 5000 you pay actually covers the first semester. But don’t worry I have been told as long as fees are paid one month before each semester it’s fine, those details will be given to you later on. Right now it is not available on the website.

Why don't u have an access to MyAdmin portal :O hmm may be your agent hasn't revealed the password to you.. but still University sends an e-mail to the student whenever there is any update...
I am hoping to receive an offer letter soon.. I applied two months ago .. I dont know why they are taking so long in processing applications...
Yes they haven't shared it with me, I asked them about it they said they have provided me all the communication received from them. My application was put in May for September but they couldn't make a decision as they did not receive my documents and it was considered incomplete, I was a little surprise since the only thing that was pending was the IELTS score. I have been very confused at some point since one document stated everything has been received but the latter one says not received and then on the phone they mentioned its been received and again on the letter, they are saying not received. So now I have to arrange again for those documents and sent it over again.
You should email the international office or Tracy.1summers@royalroads.ca (admission advisor) and find out the status since it has been more than 8 weeks now.
That's why.. I hate to apply through these Agents.. coz they conceal many things/facts from students.. You should have applied through some reputed agent such as IDP, I have heard that their policy strictly advises nothing is hidden from student about his/her application.. even applicant is supposed to do everything... they just provide guidelines... anyways.. Am not endorsing anyone... who is your agent? And did they charge you anything in the form of RR University Application Fees ?
And I am surprised why this university consumes so much time in processing students application. However, there are few who received the offer letters in just 3 weeks...
Feel like weird that they had put your application On Hold just coz you did not submit ur IELTS score, they could have requested this at later stage .. Oh my God...

IDP is good with their work, they were the first person I approached to but they rejected me for Canada but I met the some other person who put me through for Australia but its really expensive to go there hence I had to use a different agent.That's why.. Right LOA takes about 3 weeks or to be issued but for decision making it takes about 6-8 weeks. I know someone who applied after me have actually moved in this September and thankfully they didn't put me into the pre-masters course otherwise I will have to shell out another $4-7K.
You should get your GIC account open soon. They opened my account with Scotia and the name is incorrect and one line of the address in missing. Mailed Scotia and they only updated my name but not the address. I have sent them another email and its more than 5 days and they haven't updated anything. Now I have to send them another email again.
