I applied for a TRP may 27 and havent recieved an email saying they have my paperwork or anything. It was for a DUI 8 years ago. Should I be expecting something saying there processing it or is there a way to check the status

You won't hear from IRCC until a decision is made.

The processing time is about 4 months according to the LA office...

Oh wow that seems inordinately long. There isn't too much info about TRPs but the website and this forum have said it is supposed to only take 3-6 months. Maybe send an email??

I, my wife and my daughter have a PR card but I applied visitor visa for my new born baby who born outside of Canada and gave explanation letter to explain why we could not give a birth in Canada which is due to my wife's risky pregnancy. I paid 100 Cad for visitor visa and 1 month later i received a request letter to pay 200 Cad more for TRP. After that I am still waiting. Do you know what it means? I applied for visitor visa but they requested a fee for TRP. What is the processing time of TRP? I appreciate if you can help me.
