No updates since IP1. I heard if you order GCMS it helps your application. Is it true? Does anyone have any experience?

I don't know. I ready in the forum few people mentioned this and i was wondering if i should order GCMS or not sinnce it's been 3 months after IP1 and no movement.complete and utter bullsh1t
You can order gcms. It provides good info about your status. But it won't move your application forward. People who say this are usually affiliated with 3rd party gcms ordering websites.I don't know. thats bull crp.. if this was case everyone would be doing same.. now I can tell u abt this process what happens in background ... when you ask for gcms notes.. it goes to a diff cell all together, not your officer not your case analysts, they have no freaking idea about your order... and the people from that cell extract every single entry done in system and send across...if you computer science guy then imagine like this.. what you get its basically unix log of a unix program.. getting logs have nothing to with real executionI don't know. ok I will talk to ottawa office when I am passing by in evening to do your processing faster heheheheheAOR June 3, Medical Passed on June 14 and IP1 June 15. Just spoke to an agent. My visa office is Ottawa. Eligibility is met and background check not started yet. She told me my application is in line to be processed within the 6 months timeline.
Nice gestureok I will talk to ottawa office when I am passing by in evening to do your processing faster hehehehehe
You should call IRCC to know what that update is about. Ghost updates have different meanings for different cases. Personally, I have two ghost updates but I haven't got the PPR yet.I received a ghost update exactly 5 days ago now, but there have been no changes, emails, etc. Any thoughts on what it might could've been? CEC-Inland, case is being processed in Ottawa.

Thanks, I'll see how long my patience will hold... I may give them a call before the end of this week if I don't receive any newsIt might take a while to receive an email or update on your profile.
Not comparable, but for my TRV application, it took more than a week to get PPR email after a ghost update on my profile.
I hope you get what you are waiting for, this week
