Spousal Sponsorship from the U.S.

Hi Everyone,

My husband applied to sponsor me. We currently live in the US and we have not decided when we want to go back to Canada. I got a letter from IRCC that they need prove that we will go back and live in Canada. I am not sure how to reply to their letter because we only wanted to go back to Canada in 2019 or 2020. Any ideas or suggestions. Your feedback is much appreciate it.

Maybe prove if you have properties under your name, bank accounts or very close family relatives?

You need to provide a clean plan to IRCC on how and when your husband and you will return to Canada. This is important. They will not approve sponsorship if the sponsor doesn't really know if and when both of you will go back. Better come up with a credible plan to IRCC.
