Clarification on : Two or more certificates, diplomas, or degrees.

I haven't applied for ECA because I want to know that does my PGDCA is valid or not although my university from where I had done my PGDCA in distance education is UGC approved university but does WES consider distance education course valid? I'm also attaching the link https://www.ugc.ac.in/oldpdf/Consolidated list of All Universities.pdf which shows Total No. of Universities in the Country as on 23.08.2018 in India. My university serial number is 761 Kindly help me out whether this PGDCA course will help to enhance my crs score or not?

it's not about distance learning, or how your university is recognized in your home country. this is about how canada sees your diploma issued by that university. i have no idea about indian colleges and diplomas ow how ECAs are done.

1- If I finished undergraduate diploma after Bachelor Degree so i will choose Two or more certificates, diplomas, or degrees
2- If this undergraduate diploma suppose to done in 1 year but I do it in fast track way in 8 months so WES will evaluate it as 1 year diploma or not

Will that be 2 yrs program at university or 2 or more certificates, one must be for 3 years or more?
I am confused because it says enter the highest level of education

Am i eligible for two or more certificates??

If NO then what 1 years course should i go for which is valid as per them . (From punjab)

I have completed my bachelor in financial markets of 3 years from mumbai and after that MCOM from mumbai unversity of 2 years (Distance learning) so that will be considered as TWO OR MORE CERTIFICATES, DIPLOMAS OR DEGREES? Please reply.

Okay so what if the duration of the course is not mentioned in the ECA but it only says PG Certificate is recognized as completion of a graduate level diploma. Does this mean it is compared to 1 year study?

I have done 10th, diploma (3yr) and b.tech (3years).

Now i have three question .
Please do answer

1) Am i eligible for "two or more certificate option" ?

2)how to select diploma in WES as there is no option of diploma. Only bachelor's is mentioned. How to select diploma?

3) can i send my certificate to WES before doing IELTS or anything and all.? Bcz if ill be eligible then only ill give it a try.

Please answer as it will help many of us.

Hi Everyone,

Hopefully I am able to get a response to my query in this discussion.

The following query I have is: Am I eligible to select "two or more certificates" option if

1) I have a degree in Chemical Engineering from the UK (Duration: 4 years)

2) I have a diploma in Mechanical Engineering from Singapore (Duration: 3 years).

I completed my Diploma before attempting my degree.

It would be great if someone would shed some insights into it. Thanks!

My WES Report summary is "Bachelor's degree (four years) and postgraduate diploma (one year)" I have completed my Masters as MBA in Finance with two years. My question is related to the post graduate diploma:

Q1. What should be selected in 'Level of Education'?
Q2. What should be selected in 'Level of education (Canadian equivalent) shown on Education Credential Assessment (ECA) report'?
Q3. Will I get points for 'Two or more certificates, diplomas, or degrees' or 'University degree at the Master’s level'

I got Wes evaluation as Bachelor's degree (three years) for graduation and bachelor's degree (four years) for post graduate diploma in management. Will I be eligible for two or more degree diploma category.

I also have the same confusion regarding the Diploma and Degree evaluation. As I am missing for just 1 point, if I get 22 on Educational part, I can qualify for the EE profile.

Please help me on this -
I have done Diploma after 12th for more than 2 years from Gujarat Technical Education Board and then Bachelor of Engineering from Gujarat University for 3 years as I had lateral entry in second year in BE.

I am starting my WES process. I will send all the transcripts for Diploma and Degree. And if it gets successfully evaluated, am I eligible for "Two or more degrees" option or 22 points???

As I have read all the forums, but I didn't found any guaranteed replies who have already applied for 22 points in the same situation.

Awaiting the experienced replies.

I am from Pakistan...Recently done with my Masters in Business studies (2 years program). Previously I have completed my Bachelors in Arts (2 years Program)
IELTS Score : 7.0
Experience : 2 years of paid experience as an Accounts manager within Pakistan.
I want to apply for Canadian Immigration...Can anyone please tell me are these credentials enough to apply for any program?
and tell me if i should apply with spouse or without spouse?
