Where do I receive my COPR ?

Hey guys,

I’m applying Outland for PR (family sponsorship class) and I’m currently visiting my wife in Canada as a tourist.

My questions are:
Where do I receive my COPR?
What happens if I receive it while I’m here in visit ?
What's really this document?
Am I gonna receive it by email and do I need to print it after?

P.s. I know all this informations about crossing the borders once you receive the COPR, I just don’t know if this document is gonna be send via-email or directly to my house in my country, this being said, I just don’t know if I receive the document while I’m here, do I need to come back to my country or can i make the move that a lot of people does Which is crossing the borders.

You will receive a PPR (Passport Request).through your online account and/or by email. This will tell you where to send your passport, it should have an option to send it to an office within Canada while youre there.

So, have you been in this same situation ?
Because, I believe that there’s a lot of people in my situation, cause even in the CIC website they say that we can visit our spouse during the process, cause visiting doesn’t mean leaving...
So, in case it happens I don’t need to go back to my home country just to come again and be a «landed immigrant » right ?

Yes, you can stay in Canada and submit your passport to I believe Ottawa, they will return your passport with the COPR, after that you can just "flag pole" or make an appointment with a immigration office in Canada to do your landing interview. Im not going through this myself since im still in my home country, but I will be landing soon too.
