Passport is expired while spousal suponsership is in process

hello everyone
I was suponserd by my wife on family class and its in process but my passport is expired and i dont have any status valid in canada
What am i going to present cic if they ask passport for completion of process
Please help

Please provide more information on your case so people can help you. Like, are you applying inland or outland? Is there anyway you can renew the passport? And if not, why not? And how long after you applied did the passport and visa status expire?

after your sponsorship is approved.....IRCC will send you a request for passport......and you must send IRCC a valid passport with expiry date valid for at least 6 months from the time get the visa......and preferably beyond the anniversary of your medical exam date.

The PR visa expiry date will be the earliest of your passport expiry date and the anniversary of your medical exam date (e.g., if you did medical exam on Aug 31, 2018....the anniversary date will be Aug 31, 2019)......the PR visa once issue cannot be extended.

The PA and accompanying family members are should have a valid passport.......will advice you apply for a passport through the embassy of your home country in Canada.

Thank you so much for kind suggestion but my problem os that i applied for restoration of my status on july 13 and still waiting for there reply.
My passport renewal needs my valid status in canada and withiut it i cant renew it.
I applied inland suponsership and cant even leave this country.
So confused here is only kne way that if they send me restoration status so i can get TRV which is enough to get passport renews in canada.
I talked with cic call center and they said they are working on the applications received on 30 april.
Is there any chance i can send letter to cic mention that i have applied for restoration status and i have to wait till they send me that TRV.
But im wondering they are not going to say that your passport is expired and we cant give TRV?

Your Restoration app will be refused because you don't have a valid passport and you will be told to leave Canada. A TRV is completely irrelevant to your current situation. Your PR app will not be approved without a valid passport.

You need to obtain a travel document from your embassy to return to your country and get a new passport. You can then try for a TRV to return to Canada but it likely won't be approved and you will need to withdraw your inland app and reapply outland.

You basically only have one option: get a travel document. Return to your country. Get a passport. Try for a TRV. If refused, withdraw your inland app and apply outland.

You cannot legalize your status in Canada without a valid passport.

If you don't have the means to return to Pakistan you likely won't also be able to prove that you and your wife can support yourselves without government help which is required for sponsorship.

Ok so if i decide to leave canada within two days and i will go pakistan and get new passport when cic request passport i will send it from paksitan for PR VISA once PR aproved they will send to my adress in canada and i will get it in mail from canada.
So can i make entry in canada with that PR visa??
They wont cancle my application.

sorry here i used the word MEANS and my point is know i am not going to get canada visa so early and easily as i was student here before and i am not going to be able to become student again.
I need my passport ome any comdition so i was thinking if i go to make my passport and if i will have to wait three months for visa and same time cic requests passport should i send passport from pakistan and get visa done on it while im in Pakistan?

Why cant you ask the Pakistani embassy to issue you a temporary passport for the purpose of the PR? And during this process you wont travel or use the passport until the PR process is completed.
The reason i suggest this is due to the fact that my embassy wouldn't issue me a new electronic passport, so they issued me a TEMPORARY passport for the duration of my application (for a year) and i had to declare i will not travel at all until this process is completed.

IRCC doesn't request the passport with an inland app. You have to attend a landing interview in Canada and as I said, you would likely not be approved for a TRV to return. You would need to withdraw the inland app (or waste time waiting for it to be refused) and apply outland.
