I got a job offer from Best Buy Canada . Its NOC is 2282. Its a part time job , work from home , however giving me upto 40hrs a week. Will it be accepted as valid job offer for express entry or PNP.

You can get 5 points under FSW however no points under CRS until you have a valid LMIA code.

The Employer "Best BUY" will have to submit an LMIA to the Canadian Labor department who will issue an LMIA. It takes 2-6 months.

So just to clarify you are in Canada or outside Canada when you received this job offer from Best Buy. If outside Canada might question whether the job is real but guess tech support can be anywhere on end of phone or a laptop.

It is not clear from your previous post what your current status is in Canada if in Canada whether you are already on a work permit or a study permit or what hence I guess the reference above to LMIA.

Personally I cannot see Best Buy ever sponsoring an LMIA application for the job under NOC 2282 given there would be plenty of applicants in Canada who are either citizens or PRs who Best Buy would need to show were not available. In fact as a major corporation I could not see Best Buy ever going through an LMIA process to hire internationally.

Currently I am a student here in Canada and I still have 1 year of studies left. As pery previous experience in India I got the opportunity to work with best buy as covert Operations Remote Repair Agent and as per the jobs responsibilities it comes under the NOC 2282.

Also as per my CRS point with my previous experience it is 406 which makes me eligible to apply for ontario pnp. I was just concerned if I can use this job offer to upgrade my score and make my case stronger.

And also I would like to know that will my current status as student have any adverse effect on my application.
