Supplementary information request for students

Hello Everyone,

I received the request for the supplementary information on behalf of getting my study permit.

In this form, there are questions related to my research/work activity in my home country which is Egypt. In the form, they mentioned my country as Iran which is wrong.

Question from the form
(Supervisor in Iran for previous studies)

Shall I complete the form and submit it as it is or do I need to mention in every question related to "Iran" that I'm an Egyptian citizen?

or it's common to receive this form with Iran for all the middle east.
I tried to contact them to explain my issue but with no response
I have been waiting nearly for 1 month after receiving this form

what do you advise me to do?

Has your time to submit not expired? I would send webform explaining you are not from Iran and have never been to Iran.
Then cross out anywhere it says Iran on the form and write Egypt and include a letter with the form that you are not from Iran never been to Iran when you upload.

The time expired, but when I answered the questions of the form I wrote that I did all my studies in Egypt and I am form Egypt and I have never been to Iran.

I forgot to write a letter explaing this. I think answering the questions was enough.

I am so worried now since it took a very long time and there is no way to contact with the cic or the embassy.

My brother I faced the same problem, and I answered the questions saying I am not from Iran and I got my visa. However it took a long time. I remember it took 2 moths. So I advise you to stay calm and not to worry about it. You will get it, it is just a matter of time.
