Hi All,

With regards to PR application - my parents appeared for the Medical exam.

My Dad has had a medical procedure (stents in the heart - had a heart attack) - in Canada while he was on visitor visa (he was insured). Of course, we have shared this with the doctor who then requested the below two:

1. a blood test,
2. a visit to a heart specialist

Will appreciate your help on:
1. Should this be concerning?
2. What are the typical conditions under which one should be concerned
3. Any To Do's or Don't will be helpful.

Thanks

Probably to complex for anyone on this forum to answer. Will depend on the condition of the heart and vascular system.

its all good.. we got request for landing papers... in about 3 week or so/./...

Hi,
My parents received medical request. They will be in Canada (GTA Area), so we will be getting it done in Canada.

One of the parent has gone through hear procedure and got stent 7 years back in India. I will appreciate if you can help with your experience,as to what documents are requried or if you just managed to get medicals done without providing any documents for pre-conditions

Thanks

Hi my parents are in the phils, they were given 30 days to finish their medical exam, but then my dad had follow up exams like sputum test, pulmo eval etc etc.. do i have to worry that they cannot provide the imm1017 within 30 days? thanks

No. You can always send a CSE relaying the fact that the medical will take longer due to additional tests if it makes you feel better.

It was smooth for the most part. They referred to another heart doc, who performed basic tests and we were through.

No special documents required, just the additional fee for the specialist fee and test fees.4
Hope this helps.

@Indiapnp : Can you help to answer if your parents got additional Hear tests done/requested like Eco, ECG or Stress Echo? What was the outcome? Did they passed the medical with or without these exams? Appreciate your reply.
