Wow all this proof and they still ask for more ? We’ve sent joint rental agreement, joint bank account, bills for the house, pictures with family members and also just some with the two of us, letters from both sides of the family and both work contracts where we both appears as emergency contact details. God I hope this is enough!!!

We started dating in Feb 2012.. got married April 2018 and I sent the application June 2018. Maybe it’s cause we had only been married for 2 months??

Hi ,

I am in process of filling the forms and have a question "IMM5406e"

Husband - PR canada
Me - applying from India

Do i need to provide details of my parents and brothers in the form thought we are not applying for their PR?

Thanks
This form needs to include all of your family, including anyone who is Canadian or a PR, like your Husband. It's just to get background on your family, not for who is applying to come.

Our timeline:

June 18th, 2018: Application received (Sydney, Nova Scotia)
August 8th, 2018: AOR 1 Email
August 17th, 2018: SA Email
August 20th, 2018: Medical Request Email
August 25th, 2018: Got Medical done
August 29th, 2018: Email: Application forwarded to NDVO for further processing

Am I missing a step here? What happened with the medical test results? Will there be any email/update for that.

Check gckey, they should update that medical received/Medical passed.

Btw, where did they transfer PA file? I'm confused as they transferred my PA file to Mississauga instead of where the PA resiees.

Email says:
"This message is being sent to confirm that the Application for Permanent Residence for your relative(s)
has been forwarded to the visa office in New Delhi for further processing."

Are files generally transferred after medical is completed and passed?

There’s no relation between these steps, I haven’t had my medical examination yet but my file was transferred to Mississauga today

Hi ,

I am in process of filling the forms and have a question "IMM5406e"

Husband - PR canada
Me - applying from India

YES all family members of the applicant has to shown in this form whether or not coming with applicant. It's very confusing part here; if applicant is married and husband is a sponsor then applicant cannot hide sponsor even if sponsor is in Canada, he/she must be included here. This is what I was told and our form wife's family + sponsor with my Canadian address was filled out. May be they misguided me but makes sense. Don't forget from drop down window,
"married-physically-present" Additional Family Information (IMM 5406) has to be completed by the primary applicant and every member of the family who is over 18 years of age, whether or not they are accompanying the primary applicant to Canada. SO if married husband is a family member [even if he is a Sponsor!] I sent all like this lets see what happens next.

Guys am still waiting for AOR1 but i saw some folks suggested to link application to GCkey without AOR. my question is since i already have CIC account should i try by filling my (Sponsor) details or should i ask my Wife (PA) to create an account and fill in her details?

Hey, just want to ask you where is PA staying at the moment? In Canada or in Punjab? If in Punjab did he ever been to Canada before?

Nope, PA is from Punjab,India. My question is that from now onward, will the file be processed in Mississauga or will the Office still forward it to NDVO. As far as i know, India is not a visa exempt country.Let's see whats next
