Hello folks, what's the timeline like in Singapore VO?
I received AOR2 stating that my paperwork was received in Singapore 02AUG2018, but I have not heard anything since then.
Is this normal? when should I expect to receive medical exam request? Thanks!

I think it's a case to case basis or safe to say depends on the VO handling your case. Singapore VO is quite fast (I would say) for my case. I have summarized below my paper processing:

Request letter (PPR) July 31, 2018
Invitation to Pre-arrival services July 11, 2018
Request letter (Police Clerance) July 10, 2018
Medical Report - Section A Client identification and summary (IMM 1017E) July 10, 2018
Acknowledgement of Receipt May 21, 2018

We have submitted our application beginning the month of March 2018. It's total of 6 months the most.

There are different stages in the process as ut is shown in ur mycic. Howeve, each stage also goes through number of steps. For example once the VO rcvs ur file they will do a completeness chk i.e. whether u have submitted all info or not. That is probably IP1 and so on. Best thing is to keep an eye on your background check field of mycic. What is it snowing? In progress? Or Not started yet? If it shiws in progress then u would know someone is working with ur file n thats a good thing.
However, if ut shows in process that means u r at advanced level and at that stage u can expect request for medical.
So, pls do share the status of ur mycic so that ppl can give u an idea abt the stage ur application is in...by d way end of day no one can surely tell u how it is since, it depends on how the VIsa Office works and how the officer handling ur case approaches the file.
Have u deposited RFPR amount? What abt ur PCC? Medical comes after or at d same time of those steps.
At least thats what happened to me.

Since ur BG says in-progress usually that corresponds to IP1. This will be changed to NA and then to in process. If u have lived in any EU country or USA then the BG takes time.
Once BG goes to in process then u will know that ur PPR will be issued within few weeks time. I guess till then u have to wait.
I know its hard to wait that long and in ny case waiting crossed 365 days.

medical done on 27/08 and passed 31/08
I am waiting for background check, but usually they can PPR within 2-3 months depends on the case.
