School leaving certificate

Hello all,

I will be moving to Canada (Ontario) in April. My daughter will be 11 years old by the time of start of the new school year in September. I will be pulling her out of school a couple of months early in order to travel to Canada. I wanted to ask, if the schools in Ontario give any importance to school leaving certificates, or do they decide the grade for the child based on Age and induction Test?

No they don't give any importance to school leaving certificate and even they don't ask for it, and your daughter will be admitted as per her age to the right Grade/Class.

Hi, I am in the same situation as you.
I will be moving to Mississauga, Ontario from US. My son is in sixth grade now.
Do I need to apply for any student certificate for this?
