Hi bimale4bipeople,

How did you identify if the application is under SS from your GCMS notes ?
You can look at ACTIVITY 1-4... If 1-3 are blank and the 4th one is Security then it is likely you maybe.
To confirm it, order CBSA and CSIS notes.

I ordered both, CSIS sends a one page letter(by regular post). In that it is mentioned clearly...

CSIS PPU 005 Security Assessments/Advice - Your Security Screening case is still in progress. The information has been exempted from disclosure by virtue of one or more of sections 21 (as it relates to the efforts of Canada toward detecting, preventing or suppressing subversive or hostile activities), 22(1)(a) and 22(1)(b) of the Act until your case is completed.

CBSA notes say they send a CD by post... It has the same GCMS notes, where ACTIVITY 1-4 is not redacted

ACTIVITY 1
Sub Activity/Activity Type: Security Screening
New Value: Received by CBSA
ACTIVITY 2
Sub Activity/Activity Type: Security Screening
New Value: Submit
ACTIVITY 3
Sub Activity/Activity Type: Security Screening
New Value: Not Started
ACTIVITY 4
Sub Activity/Activity Type: Security
New Value: In Progress

@bimale4bipeople, was there any information in your GCMS that showed you were placed in SS or you are just predicting?
Nevermind, just saw that someone else already asked and you already replied. But a follow up question: Does it mean your application will take longer than expected? Like, what is the effect of SS?

so what does your ACTIVITY 1-4 say?
Below are the activities. It doesn't follow the pattern. I do have Activity:9 to Activity:13 completely missing though. Even the labels"Activity:9 to Activity:13" are missing just like "Activity:3" is missing from the screenshot. I am not sure what to make out from this. :(

are you a single applicant ?
if no, did you apply for GCMS notes and provide a consent form for your spouse?
if not, then probably the missing activities could be related to your spouse's UCI, just my guess...
nothing in my opinion to suggest you are in Security at the moment

I have spouse. I didn't provide consent form for spouse when I applied for GCMS notes. I thought since I am the principal applicant, I get to see all the information. I guess I am wrong.

I correlated the activity section from my spouse's GCMS notes with mine and yes, those missing activities are for my spouse as you have guessed.
