I am January 5th, 2018 Applicant and the status is still IP since 21 March

Also i called and they confirmed that my & wife files is in Mississauga office for further processing, however the customer service agent mentioned that Mississauga office is apparently the slowest processing office, so now have no other option but to wait.....

went to local PS to get the FP done only to find out results will NOT be sent directly to CIC - rather I will get the results and then I have to send it to CIC

Had I known before - I'd have gone to private, third party FP services

Congrats! Read the book 2-3 times and take online sample tests. That will be more than enough to get through. Good Luck..

Me and my wife are planning for a US trip in October. I have passed the test on 14th August and the status is Decision Made from 15th onwards.
Can I send this US travel reason for urgent processing of the last step?

In my opinion, NO. They will ask you about your return and told you that they will schedule you for Oath after you arrival. Me and My family is on DM status since June 20th but still no improvement. I think you should leave without saying anything and keep an eye on your emails for Oath but it will not come as early as you are thinking.

I have the same situation. I passed my exam on July 5 got a DM status the day after. Took my test in Scarborough. I will leave the country on November. I am not really sure about the date of my oath letter/ceremony. This really makes me anxious!

Hi. I had passed the test early July in Hamilton ON. After that I have received the email for survey. But did not receive any further correspondence related to DM.

I have seed alot of people received notification of DM next day after the test.

Some people contact cic can you guys suggest me how to contact cic?

You can contact them through the web forms but since the processing time is 12 months. Most people just get a generic reply. My timeline is very similar to yours and my processing centre is Hamilton too. Infact I am in process since Mar 03, 2018 and still waiting on test invite.
