I plan on applying to study in Canada for a 4 semester course with the tuition fee about $16,000.00 CAD per 2 semesters. How much would my sponsor (my Mom in my case) should be needing to show in our bank account? I know that the history of the bank account should be 6 months which is already covered. But my main concern is, does my mom need to show more than $32,000.00(for tuition of 4 semesters) + $10,000.00(for living expense) CAD equivalent money in the bank account or is a tuition for the first 2 semesters enough for the moment of application?

Bank balance needs to show first year tuition + $10K for living expenses. So you would want the bank balance to show at least $26K to be approved.
