Hi there. My mom applied as tourist here in canada but got refused with the following reasons:1. lack of travel history. ( she just visited one country in Asia after she retired from her work. She's 67 years old and scared to travel the world just by herself. She went to Vietnam to visit my sister there.) And 2. Luck of finances etc...
I already stated in my invitation letter that I will cover all her expenses, medical and so on and so forth but still got denied. Need help pls. Haven't seen her since me and my family migrated here last 2013. Want to reunite with her... thank you so much in advance...

Hi, that's not good news, how long did you wait for the response? did it exceed the processing time?

They responded after 2 weeks I applied. No, it didn't exceed the processing time. So frustrated rigjt now. My son was so very excited to meet her after 5 years. But when we found out the result, he kept on asking me why. Tried to explain to him but he cannot understand . He really cried. Hope someone can help me on what to do next.

A TRV approval is based on the visitor's finances even if you say you will finance the trip because there is no way to enforce that. Your mother has also not visited a country like Australia, the US, UK, etc where she would need a visa and had proof that she would return to her home country. Have you looked into the supervisa program? That is more dependent on your finances vs your mom's. Not a guarantee but would look into it.
