@NzKhn is it necessary to pay NOW the Right of Permanent Residence Fee (RPRF) cost $490? I have received the CIC ITA yesterday.

Congrats @sbernados :D

Nope, not necessary. I will not be paying RPRF right now either, but only when they request it... at least then I will know PPR is around the corner :D
I have been unnecessarily delayed in submitting my CIC applications thanks to the South African PCC I am STILL waiting for

anyone who has already submitted documents after Getting ITA can pls confirm if paystubs from old companies are not avaialble or lost ,what can be the alternate solution documents can be provided
Paystubs are only supporting documents. But the reference letter must include relevant information: duties, no. of hours per week, salary, etc. Just provide any other supporting documents and maybe explanation letter why paystubs are not available.

@NzKhn, I have a small problem regarding the medical I went to the authorized Medical Facility here in Abu Dhabi to inquire about the process and requirements, however, they told us that I have to bring the IMM 1017B form because they don't have the form. Do you know how to download this form? Tnx.

That makes no sense - they are supposed to have that form. It cannot and should not be downloaded by you.

This is from the CIC webiste:

Clients also have the option to proceed with an upfront medical examination before submitting their application.
  • This is required for certain categories: see the application guide.
  • The Panel Physician will select the appropriate immigration category during the immigration medical examination.
  • Depending on whether the Panel Physician submits the medical files to Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada on paper or electronically (eMedical), the applicant will receive a proof of completion of the upfront medical examination from the Panel Physician:
    • Either the first page of the IMM 1017B-Upfront (“copy to client”); or
    • A print out from eMedical entitled “Up-front medical notification”.
Applicants must attach this proof of upfront medical examination to their application prior to submitting it to the selected visa office.

Note: Panel Physicians have the IMM 1017B – Upfront forms in their office. They should contact their regional medical office for restocking.

If the panel physician follows CIC's procedures as expected, he should not require you to bring anything but your passport for ID purposes and the CIC ITA.

@NzKhn, I have read the above requirement in the website that's why I was wondering why they are asking me to bring the form.
I will call tomorrow the medical facility in Dubai I might go there for the testing as there is only one authorize facility here in Abu Dhabi. Thanks for your thoughts.

I recommend HealthBay Polyclinic in Dubai :) they were efficient and friendly, and the whole process was painless

@NzKhn, oh really you did your Medical with them? So by the way who was your doctor? I will call them again tomorrow because the lady i spoked to this morning seems does not know their requirements, I hope they entertain patients during weekends.

Yes, we did our Medicals there.

When I called them to book the appointment, I just said I needed to book the medical exam for Canadian immigration for me and my husband. She knew exactly what I was talking about, and just asked if it was a family sponsored immigration or Express Entry.

After my booking was confirmed, she emailed me the details of the appointment and what we had to bring, etc.

We had Dr. Olivia, but you might get someone else.

@NzKhn @sbernados I have just checked; I have received ITA on 22nd Aug. I have completed the fields, however, didn't find any option to upload the forms... are you getting the same process? Are you applying through the paper-based or online process?

when I been to the paper-based process; i have received several forms and a checklist, not getting the same in online option. are you guys uploading the forms in optional documents tab ?

@Sunilsahu7 ITA for NBPNP or CIC PR?

Because NBPNP is a paper-based option - you have to fill out all the documents and print them out, and send them along with your supporting documents to NBPNP

CIC PR is online

You will not be able to update your MyCIC profile unless and until you receive an ITA from CIC for PR, so for now your EE profile will stay the way it is
