However, I have a big concern regarding the biometrics requirement. I'm a Sri Lankan passport (LKA) holder and I know that LKA passport holders must submit fingerprints. At the time I applied online, there were no field to select the payment for biometrics. I only paid for the application fees of CAD 150.

Is there anybody going through a similar situation? Is there a way for me to pay the biometrics fees now?
My online status however says that they do not need my fingerprint.. CONFUSING..

Anybody can help?

hey guys
i am kinda new to the student route as helping my brother to get his student visa,
he got his admission for a advanced diploma 3 year course from seneca college, for jan 2019 intake,
he has already finished his bachelors in B.pharmacy,
i know advance diploma is same level as bachelors but he got admission in advance diloma biotechnology,

he will pay 1st year tution fee and also GIC, and also show funds in indian saving acount,
do you think he has slim chances of getting a visa as he is applying for a advance diploma after completing his bachelors?

secondly while doing online visa application , is there some thing special he needs to do to be eligible in SDS stream?
i am asking this because when doing online application its just the same forms and it doesnt specify weather its SDS or general category?

i have got my offer letter for JAN 2019 from RED DEER College Alberta and GIC amt deposited from the bank and will also pay the tution fees by next week. but now worried about the VISA as i have got 5.5 in one of the module in IELTS. and about to start the procedure on my own for VISA application. Is it mandatory to apply for VISA with the help of an agent only, as till now i have done every procedure on my own.

It's not mandatory, you can apply on your own just make sure that you're submitting each and every required document. However you should apply through the non-SDS way because your IELTS score is not sufficient for SDS

my brother has the same profile, paid one year full fee and GIC amount
ielts writing is 5.5 , i asked him to retake IELTS,
also i am doing his processing on my own with out an agent,
what about SOP and what are the other financial documents you are attaching apart from fee recipt and GIC?
can he attach his uncles saving account statement?
please advise
