In the mean time my wife came to visit me in India for a vacation and left back to canada. Now as we came to know that my wife is pregnant I applied for my visitor visa back in July 2018 it got refused..my Wife cannot come back in this situation because the sponsorer needs to be in Canada during my PR process and even though if she comes back to India for the delivery it will be a big process for our new born child for his/her visa and again we have to wait for another one year..it’s been 8 months for my pr process haven’t heard anything yet guessing it will take another 2 months from now..I am afraid to apply second time for the visitor visa..and even if I apply again if it’s get rejected will that make any impact on my pr process..
Anyone facing the same situation or into similar situation please share your ideas that what can be done..
Thanks..

There is no criteria ...NDVO is processing applications in the order of the month they were received (AOR 1) and currently they are processing October 2017 applications (Some November Applicants are also reporting DM status on ECAS) ... I reckon January applications could take another 2 months (if not earlier) as per the current trend. So hold on and be patient...
We are March applicant, we got Pre Arrival today. But I think the DM is gonna come closer to January

Hi , what is the criteria of getting Pre Arrival email.
I am Jan 2018 applicant, but i havnt got pre arrival email yet.

As user RazaRiz replied, I agree that there is an order in which the applications are processed in NDVO. Currently applicants for month of October and even November are reporting a result in their applications.

To be honest, I was least expecting pre-arrival services email & I was pleasantly surprised to receive pre services email today.

What’s the reason for refusal. If you wanna submit again make sure you closed all loop holes. When I was pregnant my Hus also got rejection. Host doesn’t have regular income even we showed 15 lakhs in my Hus account and mine 10 lakhs. I was not able to work becoz of health issues.

Posting once again...
Guys - Need a suggestion on my case. I'm Indian living in the US. Following are my dates:
- Application Submitted - 22nd Jan,2018
- AOR - 8 Mar,2016
- SA - April 4, 2018
- Background Checks submitted
- Medical done - 29 June,2018
- Current status - We are processing your Background check.

Today 22nd Aug, 2018 I received an email saying my file was sent to NVDO.
Can someone tell me if a Visa interview is needed will that be in India or US? Is there a way for me to request them to change that?

Thanks.

Guys. I can’t believe this. We applied in March 2018 and got pre arrival and passport request today!!!

Miracle

Did you apply for visitor for your spouse while your PR process is in still process? Is it slow down pr process if we apply for visitor

we applied 2 times, one time in Jan and one time in Feb. But rejected. Looking at our timeline, it doesn't really slow down the process
