@DelPiero07 May I please have your opinion on this? My AOR was June 29...
I don’t see any reason to be concerned. May be your eligibility is recommended passed by junior officer, and it’s just sitting for final approval.
At times we read in between the lines and get unnecessary stress

Thanks for replying. My file is now in Edmonton Visa Office, where my employer are based in...

In fact, I called a few times already. On August 2, I asked if my eligibility was passed and the agent said "not passed yet" and told me that when they received applications, different team will work on my file and at that time it was waiting for a team to look at it. And on August 10 I think, I've called and another agent told me my eligibility was "under review" and everything looks normal and they didn't need anything from me. Today after two weeks I called back and eligibility is still "being reviewed". I am just really concerned by the word "review". None of the agents told me anything regarding Junior officer's review so I don't know if it was review required or recommend pass... Do you have any idea usually how long does it take for people to clear eligibility? Thanks

My criminality had been in progress since the first time I called on August 2 and today it is still in progress...

If you are so concerned then you should order GCMS notes, that's why it is not suggested to call IRCC so often, it is rarely conclusive and leads to frustration, irritation when we dont hear what we want to.

Just because he mentioned eligibility is reviewed should not be a cause for so much worry tbh. It is a big and crucial stage and undergoes 2 reviews.
Next time you call or order gcms notes, ask/look for whether it has been recommended passed/met in the first review.

And you are not even half way through the 6 months timeline.

I called IRCC for the first time in two months after receiving AOR.

I learnt that, I have passed the eligibility and security / criminal is in progress.
Any idea how long this stage will last?

All I can say is have patience. I am worried too, but it doesn’t help.
Best source of information is notes, followed by IRCC agent calls, followed by responses on this forum (which are just guess work).

AOR June 4, CEC inland.
Ordered GCMS notes on July 24 and received it today.
(Checked the date of the notes, the file was generated on July 24, same date of order but only got released today)
According to the notes, eligibility was recommended pass on June 25. Criminality and security not started.
So it means analyst finished eligibility check within three weeks after AOR. But nobody touched my file ever since.

PS. two visa offices. Primary Ottawa, secondary Vegreville in AB

I think you should order another notes to see the latest changes in your file.

Ok...to make you feel better, my AOR was also in June and my eligibility is still under review. I would be SO HAPPY if my eligibility is now recommended pass :)
:) i know recommended pass for eligibility is a big step already. I just wished to see background check at least in progress not just "Not started" for over two months...
Good luck to all of us!!!
