new biometrics information

I have just passed medical exam today and came with it is a biometrics collection letter. In the letter they say that I need to send my photo and fingerprints within 30 days. The problem is I am in Canada now and I already have my biometrics data taken last year, the new biometrics field in my application information was also updated and all the information was filled. I also called CIC but the lady did not seem to know what to do as well. can anyone in the same position explain what to do and what is going on?

before the medical exam, the biometrics part was empty like this

You need to give your biometrics again if you are applying for permanent resident. It is on the website.
