Hi everyone,

Am new to the forum and am a recent applicant in the pool waiting for my ita. I really appreciate all your efforts to keep this forum alive for newbies like me and hope that I too shall get assistance like others.

My CRS score is 440( without spouse,single applicant while declaring spouse in the application) and 438( with spouse, her ielts and Wes combined)

Question: If I get an ITA for 440, should I go ahead or wait for further ita to drop to 438 ( not sure how soon that will happen)

The other concern is that if I go as a single applicant now and then later sponsor my spouse once I get my PR, what is the average wait time for my spouse to get a pr?

Average wait time for sponsorship is a year but there are additiomal requirements as in you can't land and start sponsoring the next day.

I understand that I may not be able to start immediately, but what are the prerequisites / requirements to start the sponsorship application ?

Which is now showing my child is unaccompanying...but i want to get it changed
As i want my child to bring with me to canada....

Hi, I'm kinda worried I am yet to get an ITA in yesterday's draw... I scored 141. Should I still hope for an ITA or should I just wait till the next draw? Does it always take this long?

hello there ..
i am kinda newbie to this express entry program
i would like to ask if my CRS evaluation score (didnt apply yet cuz of ECA) is 429 ... with a bachelors degree + CLB 9 ielts
should i pursue a one year post graduate diploma to push it to 462 ... i am scared that this option may be time consuming and some modifications might happen to EE system.
or should i just wait till the score goes down .. which didnt happen since may 2016 ...

Hi Guys,

I have a 420+ score.
I checked the CIC draw for ITAs as below :

But I did not receive an invitation.So what is the criteria on which the ITAs are released to candidates ?

CIC is the one choosing the cut-off score. The last draw August 22nd was 440. If your score is above 440 you get an ITA. If its below then you wont get an ITA. Its all calculated on averages and the amount of people in the pool, but its very difficult to guess since people are added to the pool everyday. So the best thing is to try increasing your score over 440 since it seems to be the yearly average for draws.
