While waiting for my technical issue to resolve, in the meantime I am preparing all the required documents...

I am Indian citizen living in the USA for past 9 years on EAD / Work authorization status (for green card). Do we need to upload our EAD card as well to prove the legal status in the country of residence USA?

1. When they say print the name of the person right after they ask for the photo studio name,is this the name of the photograher or myself?
2. is it only the photo that should be in jpeg? everything else i have in pdf

No need to print anything on back, that is for PR card.
Click on ? next to your placeholder for photo, you will know exact specifications.

One question regarding PCC.

I lived in Malaysia for 363 days i.e 2 days less than 1 year from 13-Jul-2015 to 11-Jul-2016.As per CIC Guidelines in the webpage,PCC from Malaysia is provided only when a person stays in Malaysia for an year or more.The link is below.

Still I went ahead and applied for PCC in Malaysia consular website but its status is unchanged.Do I have to submit the PCC as I lived in Malaysia for 363 days i.e technically less than 1 year?Also,I kept coming back to India every 3rd month for a week or two and did not live continusoly for 6 months in a stretch.

Please let me know if you guys have any idea on this.

I think the cic website is quite clear, for Malaysia upload a self declaration on a blank page (see below)

For India, if it's less than 6 months in a row for the past ten years, 100% you don't need it (from my own case)

If you have not lived in Malaysia for one year or more, you are not required to provide a Malaysian police certificate. If you are asked for a police certificate from Malaysia, write: “I cannot provide a police certificate for the time I spent in Malaysia because certificates are only available to people who have lived in Malaysia for one year or more.”

Hello its me again

Can anyone please suggest what should I do. I tried refreshing, clearing cache and using different browser. Still getting Technical error and its not letting me to move foward. After i click "Continue Application" its showing me system is not available. IS anyone else also facing the same situation... if not could you please suggest. I also created a techincal error report and sent to CIC but no response

Hi Just wanted to update

Today FINALLY i was able to continue with my application. Looks like you need to create IRC webform and email them with all the screen shots right from the beginning of the page till where you get the error message. and WAIT for the response. Anyways Thank God it resolved

Whatever documents you submit must be true and indicate completeness on the day you got ita not on the day you submit the electronic application. I have read this in a few blogs!!
