Try recalculating with maxed out ielts. Icas needs 3 months i think. Consider all your options.

It depends on how WES evaluates your education

for e.g. if WES gives you a CANADIAN EQUIVALENCY SUMMARY as below.

diploma (two years) and bachelor's degree (three years)

and they asses your diploma as:

Canadian Equivalency: Secondary school diploma and diploma (two years)

and you BE as:
Canadian Equivalency: Bachelor's degree (Three years)

Then you will qualify under the "Two or more certificates, diplomas or degrees" rule.

make sure while you create your EE profile, add both diploma and BE in there. The system will automatically calculate the points for you.

Is the CANADIAN EQUIVALENCY SUMMARY equally important with the individual degree equivalency .. like degree 1 = bachelor's 3 year and degree/diploma = college one-year certificate... doesn't just the individual qualification update in the EE profile calculate the score or CANADIAN EQUIVALENCY SUMMARY also plays any role in the final score? Bit confused here .. Please help

I am trying for days for an answer. My graduation is in English literature, 3 years (Which I have evaluated as 3-year bachelors from WES)Now i have completed PG Diploma in Computer application (1 year).
My question is that, is there any chance that WES will merge these two (3+1) together and evaluate as a 4-year graduation? (my graduation and PG Diplomas are in entirely different subjects) and both are from accredited universities.

Please help

Nobody except WES can tell you how your PG diploma is evaluated. Request a new evaluation from WES and then see.

While submitting your express entry profile you have to enter the individual evaluations after mapping them to the IRCC categories

Equivalancy summary is not required. If you have 2 individual evaluations map them to IRCC options and enter 2 rows. System is smart enough to calculate the points based on your entries. Hope this helps.

All who are confused about "two or more certificates, diplomas or degrees..." points, the following information may help you to understand-

Many people's understanding of "two or more degree" points is not clear enough. People often get confused by the list provided under 1st section and ignore the other three sections below. People think only a minimum 3 years long bachelor's or diploma Plus a post graduate study can be counted but in real we can count any post secondary diploma or certificates (minimum 1 year) and a minimum 3 years degree or diploma to get points for "two or more...".

IRCC have changed the IT systems, now we cannot select "two or more degrees" anymore rather we have to insert all our degree or diplomas separately and the system will count the points automatically. If you do ECA on your educational credentials and get assessed as following any one of them then you will get points for "two or more.."

Two or more certificates, diplomas, or degrees.
Important notice: One must be for a program of three or more years.

ECA assessment results:
A three-year or more certificate, diploma, or degree

PLUS any of the results in the sections below (not including secondary/high school), or:

• Post-Bachelor's Certificate
• Post-undergraduate certificate
• Post-Bachelor's Diploma
• Post-undergraduate diploma
• Graduate Certificate
• Graduate Certificate with a focus in [area of concentration]
• Postgraduate certificate

Thank u. I created my WES account and also sent the documents both diploma and degree. Documents were delivered to them but they have not yet updated. Waiting for evaluation, once done, I'll update here.

Hello Everyone,

I have done my Bachelor's (B.sc- 3 Years) in 2nd Division from Panjab University and Master's (M.sc in Environment Science- 2Years) in 1st division from Panjab University. In the WES Equivalency tool it is showing as Bachelor's Degree (3 years) and Bachelor's Degree (4 Years)...Will i be able to get the points under 2 Degrees options. Also, will there be any difference if I will apply my ECA from IQAS.

Please advise!
