Hi guys, i took my IELTS general training on the 18th August and I've been having sleepless nights since then. I had a glitch with my headphones during the listening test which i notified 2 of the test instructors but they assured me it was just due to an interruption to the infrared connection because they were walking in the isles and distributing the test papers. During the exams, i had at least 2 episodes of such similar occurence and i kind of panicked which led to me missing about 4 questions. Now i'm concerned about some other sections where i didn't hear every part of the audio and i could have selected the wrong answer because of that. I filled a complaint form after the exam, but i don't know if anything will come out of it. I need at least a band score of 8.0 in the listening test.
Anyone with an experience with filling of complaint forms? What are the usual outcomes of such forms? Is there any additional follow up i need to do?

I'm not sure I'll remember most of the answers. I think the part A was fairly easy and pretty straightforward. The problems I had was with the early part of of section B; the one on the children's camp and job offers available, the section C; may or may not be present part and then the part about the coal mining. The question on where coal was earlier mined. I heard cliffs, but then I realized there were other locations mentioned but it was interrupted by the noise in the headphones. And then another one where I wrote Scotland. But I'm not sure if it's the right answer.

I think overall you had a bad attempt for listening.

Do you remember the answer to the first multiple choice question; the one that asked what the speaker said he would answer questions on? I missed that part on the audio, ended up choosing the option "the general activity of the camp" or the sort.

And the first question of section C or D I think. The one that asked what both students were confused about. I selected the "duration of their presentation" option, but once again, there was an interruption so I'm not sure if it was the correct answer.
