How I wish the govt comes up with a relief /plan / change in policy which allows the desiring investors with the CSQ to move to Quebec before the PR

This will be a win win situation to us as well to the Quebec govt.

We as investors / businessmen and will surely do some business / income generation which will add up to employment generation as also revenue / tax generation to the Quebec govt. etc. We will be of value addition in some way or the other .

The waiting period as it is ,,is unending and keeps on getting longer. No one benefits .

Each week keeping a track on processing times only gives heartache.

The desperation level at times gets so high that it affects our mental well being and health

I hope and pray someone takes our cause forward

Thnx

Hi
Is their any way by which we can know which visa office is fastest and which slowest and so on in processing the application at the federal stage . Avg processing time accordingly to cic website is 46 months presently .
I read in posts elsewhere that makes me wonder , any specific website / process through which it can be known ?

Hi, ash1969, I think you can find the application procedure in this website, https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/authenticate.do
I can't find mine because my case is on the way to Federal now ><

Hi iam aware of this one , but again it does not show mine as my docs not submitted to federal yet .
Tnx for sharing
Hi Ash1969 & TCKevin,
My interview was end May and got the original CSQ last week, expect to submit the application for Federal next week. My lawyer said Federal has a quota for Business application with CSQ, it seems they are not doing anything to improve the accessing time.

Hi Ash1969 & SFF, will you stay in Quebec after got the PR? I think I will stay in Montreal to rent a condo for the first year in Canada although I don't understand French at all~~~But I think it will be a good chance for my 2 boys to learn bilingual. I often think what will I do in Montreal? a little bit worry about it.

I am planning to stay in Quebec. You can subscripte a free online French course 2 months after you receive your CSQ. You have 3 years min to learn. I personally think Montreal has preserved more typical Canadian culture. I have no doubt with your experience in management, you should be able to know what you should do after reside in Canada.

Hi TC / SSF
we three are together about few months here and there in our race for PR
i also intend to stay in Montreal . I found the place really nice with warm people during my last visit
It’s a bilingual place though I strongly feel that knowing French is a must . There are lot of options available to learn the language
My two boys have learnt the
language for 3 years .
Stop worrying and keep your faith in tact in god , Good will happen at the appropriate time .

Max 3 months
The real struggle starts after the CSQ
2-3 months is acceptable. But 3-4 years is really too much.
But we r helpless we can’t do anything only can pray and hope.

While waiting we can prepare ourselves and plan for our children education and tax system. We should educate ourselves and manage our assets.
So in this forum if we talk on these two topics also will be good.
As we all will be moving to Montreal almost same time and we will face all these things.

Agreed . We should also be a pillar of support for each other and share all type of important information/ updates here
