Hello respected Sir/Ma'am,
I am Hemal from Gujarat,i want to apply for the Canada student visa but i have study gap.
Below is my profile,
10th ->2008(73.54%)
12th ->2010(58.00%)

I was enrolled in B.tech in 2010,but i have got lot more backlogs so i dropped B.tech in 2014. so 2010 to 2014 is study gap.

In 2014 i enrolled in Bachelor of computer application
BCA ->2014 to 2017(81%)
MCA -> 2017 to 2019

I am planning for September'19 intake.

So i have gap of 4 years 2010 to 2014. Am i eligible for student visa?

Thank You in advance.

That is not a gap, a gap is between finishing school and applying for permit. Also a gap doesnt mean your are not eligible for visa it is simply part of the things they will consider.

Since you have a masters its going to be difficult for you to choose a course that makes sense unless you go for PHD or maybe another masters and explain it well in your stuudy plan.

okay thank you for your time sir.
So, what should i explain in my SOP about that 4 years of gap?

is there any problem if i choose specialization like PG diploma in Data science or PG diploma in Cyber security?

There is no gap.
By doing PG diploma you are going backwards from your masters, you need to explain why this move makes sense in your studies/career progress.
