Hi Everyone,

I'm a US citizen, have a full time job in the US, I invested in a coffee shop in Canada with my brother who's a permanent Canadian resident, I'm planning to help him out with day to day activities in order to save on employees expenses, I would like to know if it's possible to work at our coffee shop, up to 6 months a year, maybe in different form such as 2 to 3 days a week by driving from across the border. Do I need to get a work permit?

I appreciate your contribution.
Regards,

You need a valid work permit - it's illegal to work as a visitor in Canada.

First step is to obtain an approved LMIA.
